Alopecia

Alopecia, also known as hair loss, is a common dermatologic concern. It can arise from genetics, hormones, medical and autoimmune disease, physical trauma or stress, and certain medications. A thorough history and evaluation are required to determine the cause and type of alopecia, which can direct appropriate therapy. Treatments for alopecia at New Jersey Dermatology and Aesthetics Center include oral/topical medication, steroid injections, and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). Please contact our office if you are suffering from hair loss.
